The Rev. Dr. Frank D. Tucker Commemoration Committee of the First Baptist Church greets you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are extremely proud to announce that Pastor Tucker will be celebrating his retirement as the longest-serving shepherd ‒ 46 years‒ of our congregation.  He has labored as Senior Pastor of our historic church since January 1976.

​

The Commemoration Committee planned a series of celebrations that commenced in November 2022.  It culminates at a Black-Tie Gala on March 17, 2023.  Our theme is “Reverence, Recognition, and Reflection: A Season of Celebration Honoring The Reverend Dr. Frank D. Tucker.”
